We provide service and repair work inside your home on your stove or fireplace. Along with in-home services, if necessary, we can remove your wood, pellet, gas stove, or gas fireplace and bring it back to the shop for a thorough analysis. We can rebuild, replace, or repair parts in your hearth appliances as well, in-home or at our shop as needed.

Three Levels of Inspection

Level 1 Inspection

A level one inspection is primarily visual in that the technician will inspect what is readily available in sight. This includes the fireplace or stove itself, readily accessible chase or chimney areas (not including attic spaces) and the exterior. The inspection is exclusively contingent upon the understanding that the fireplace was properly installed from top to bottom and was inspected and approved for use by the inspection authority with jurisdiction.

Level 2 Inspection

A level two inspection includes all of the elements of a level one inspection. It also includes a thorough inspection of clearances, construction, fascia, and chimney condition of all areas within accessible living space, attics, crawl spaces, and basements. Typically, this requires video and / or any other means to confirm the integrity of the system.

Level 3 Inspection

This type of inspection includes both level one and two but also entails entry into concealed areas surrounding the system to confirm the construction, condition, and clearances of the system itself. This can include removing portions of the exterior or interior of the home, removal of fireplace or stove, or any other means necessary to fully inspect and approve its condition. It is a level of inspection used when a hazard or damage is suspected but cannot be viewed behind finished walls.
